Mother's Day

My Mother's Day was one of the best days I have had in a long while. I know a lot of planning went into it. First off it started on Saturday, Tommy made dinner for our family plus his sister Kristine and 3 nieces/nephews. It was delicious! Oh he also folded some laundry! Ok now for Sunday. First off I got to sleep in!! Tommy fed Chloe a bottle for her morning feeding, that never happens. Around 8:30 I was summoned, had to close my eyes and the kids led me to the kitchen. When I opened them there was breakfast, all ready and everything. You have to know this is a big deal and hasn't happened before. For breakfast Tommy made egg mcmuffins. Noah(helped) made yogurt parfaits. And there was orange juice in goblets. (A must for Tommy ;)) And presents and flowers! Everything was amazing, I am the luckiest mom I know! The kids really enjoyed being a part of a surprise for Mom. Later in the day we went to my parents house for dinner and we also visited Tommy's mom. We have some amazing moms!!! I love them both. I hope all you moms had as wonderful a day as I did.

Easter Weekend

We first started on Friday coloring Easter eggs with Grandma Bowman. They always have fun doing this. I'm glad Grandma does it because I hate the mess. On Saturday the kids had a hunt at each Grandparents house. They are so spoiled! They got soooo much candy, it's going to last all year. (yeah right) They also got some clothes and toys and picture albums.

Here is the loot they got at our house. More candy and flip flops and a new Church outfit and shoes. I'm glad my kids think clothes are exciting because that's what they needed so that's what they got.

Brooklyn's dress didn't fit so we had to run to the store and find another one.

Then we had Brooklyn's first dance recital! A Disney Spectacular. She was a mouse from Disney's Cinderella. Her and cousin Hallie were in the same dance. Cousin Addie was in a Lion King dance. They all did so well and looked so cute!

I think they like posing!

Anna wishes she could have danced too.

All dressed up in their new sunday best.

Chloe is of course asleep in the carseat so no picture of her cute dress.

We had such a fun weekend! And we are so thankful to be able to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior. This is my favorite time of year. I am looking forward to many sunshiny days.

Fun at Salem Pond

Looking at the ducks from the bridge.

Aunt Kristen and Uncle Spencer are giving my kids a little taste of adventure!

Too bad they didn't catch anything. We had fun anyway.

Anna getting a ride on Daddy's shoulders.

Our little Chloe.
She had just as much fun as everyone else, getting to ride around in the stroller.

Poor girl, I guess she had too much fun. She's zonked.
